The C3 Chevrolet Corvette, launched in 1968, represented a dramatic departure from its predecessors, ushering in an era of audacious styling inspired by the Mako Shark II concept car. Its flowing, muscular lines and iconic "sugar scoop" rear window quickly cemented its status as a quintessential American sports car. By 1972, the C3 was in its final year before significant changes to bumper designs and engine output, making it a desirable example of the chrome-bumper era. These early C3s retained much of the raw, untamed spirit that defined the Corvette's golden age, before emissions regulations began to truly impact performance. This particular 1972 Corvette coupe offers a blank canvas for its next owner. Showing 0 miles on the odometer, it presents an intriguing proposition for a restoration project or a custom build. Equipped with an automatic transmission, this example is poised to be transformed, whether its future involves a faithful return to factory specifications or a re-imagination with modern performance. This is an exceptional opportunity to acquire a classic C3 Corvette ready for its next chapter.
