Welcome to Street Dreams as we celebrate our 27th year in the classic and muscle car business. It's hard to believe that Chevrolet's Corvette has now been kicking ass and taking names for a remarkable 73 years. That's right, 8 distinct generations of the legendary beast, each one more impressive than the last. The C4 (1984-1996) began to prioritize performance again and managed to get some international attention, but its NVH and ride quality left something to be desired. With the introduction of the C5 (1997-2004), however, Chevy finally had a world-class sports car with performance, styling, and engineering that could compete with all comers. This outstanding 2000 Corvette Convertible is an excellent example of these amazingly capable machines. Lift the familiar reverse-tilt hood and you'll see the stout 5.
