When Lamborghini unveiled the Urus in 2018, it marked a seismic shift for the legendary Italian marque, re-entering the SUV segment after the iconic LM002 "Rambo Lambo" of the 1980s. The Urus quickly redefined the high-performance SUV landscape, blending supercar theatrics with everyday usability. The Performante, introduced for 2023, takes this formula to its extreme. Stripping out weight, stiffening the chassis, and extracting even more power from its formidable V8, the Performante set a new benchmark for production SUVs at Pikes Peak, showcasing its intent as the track-focused variant of the breed. It represents the pinnacle of Lamborghini’s vision for the Super SUV, a vehicle that can devour continents or carve apexes with equal ferocity. This 2023 Lamborghini Urus Performante, with a mere 5,998 miles on the odometer, exemplifies that extreme performance, further amplified by the aggressive 1016 Industries widebody kit. Beneath its widened stance lies the potent 4.0L Twin-Turbo V8 engine, delivering a staggering 657 horsepower and 627 lb-ft of torque, all channeled through its lightning-quick automatic transmission. This particular example offers the unique blend of factory-engineered performance and bespoke aftermarket enhancement, presenting a visually arresting and dynamically thrilling package that stands out even among its elite peers. For the enthusiast seeking an Urus Performante that pushes boundaries even further, this is an exceptional find.
