The 2016 Mercedes-Benz GLE-Class represented far more than a simple name change from the outgoing M-Class. For 2016, Mercedes introduced revised exterior styling, updated front and rear design elements, and a noticeably modernized cabin highlighted by the latest-generation COMAND infotainment system with a large center-mounted display and an updated control interface. The result is a midsize luxury SUV that feels both familiar and meaningfully refreshed, combining a quiet, upscale interior with modern technology and a more contemporary presentation. Built on that updated foundation, the AMG GLE 63 S 4MATIC sits firmly at the top of the lineup. This is not merely a cosmetic AMG package—it is a full performance model developed by AMG.
