The 993 generation of the Porsche 911, produced from late 1993 to early 1998, holds a special place in the hearts of enthusiasts as the last of the air-cooled 911s. It represented a significant evolution from its 964 predecessor, boasting an entirely new multi-link rear suspension that dramatically improved handling and ride comfort, while retaining the iconic silhouette. Widely regarded as one of the most beautiful 911 designs, the 993 combined classic Porsche aesthetics with modern performance, making it a highly sought-after model that perfectly bridges the gap between vintage charm and contemporary drivability. This particular 1997 Carrera 2 Cabriolet exemplifies the enduring appeal of the 993. Showing a remarkably low 44,135 miles on its odometer, this 6-speed manual example is finished in the crisp and timeless Glacier White, complemented by a luxurious Cashmere leather interior and a contrasting black convertible top. The 3.6-liter air-cooled flat-six engine, paired with its engaging manual gearbox, offers an unadulterated driving experience that is increasingly rare in today's automotive landscape. This is an exceptional opportunity to acquire a low-mileage, air-cooled 911 that embodies the pinnacle of Porsche's classic era.
