The Aston Martin Virage nameplate holds a unique place in the marque's modern history, first appearing in 1989 as a bold departure from the long-serving V8 Vantage, ushering in a new era of design and engineering for Gaydon. Reintroduced in 2011, the second-generation Virage was conceived to bridge the gap between the sophisticated DB9 and the more aggressive DBS, offering a compelling blend of luxury, performance, and understated elegance. Positioned as a grand tourer with a sharper edge, it featured a subtly restyled aluminum-intensive body, a re-tuned 6.0-liter V12 engine, and a more focused chassis setup. Produced for only a single model year, the Virage Volante represented the pinnacle of open-top motoring for Aston Martin during its brief but memorable run, combining breathtaking aesthetics with exhilarating performance. This stunning 2012 Aston Martin Virage Volante, with 59,499 miles on the odometer, exemplifies the model's intent as a refined yet potent grand tourer. Under the bonnet lies the naturally aspirated 6.0-liter V12 engine, delivering a sonorous symphony and effortless power through its automatic transmission. Its convertible body style amplifies the driving experience, allowing occupants to fully immerse themselves in the V12's operatic exhaust note and the exhilaration of open-air motoring. Finished in a sophisticated color, this Virage Volante presents as a well-maintained example of Aston Martin's exclusive one-year offering. This is a rare chance to acquire a unique chapter in Aston Martin's illustrious history.
