The Chevrolet Corvette C3, launched in 1968, represented a radical departure from its predecessors, introducing a dramatic "coke bottle" design inspired by the Mako Shark II concept car. Over its long production run, the C3 evolved significantly, adapting to changing emissions regulations and safety standards. 1978 marked a pivotal year for the C3, celebrating the Corvette's 25th anniversary with a host of styling updates, most notably the introduction of a fastback rear window. This change not only modernized the aesthetic but also improved luggage space, making the '78 an instant classic and a highly recognizable iteration of the beloved third-generation Corvette. This particular 1978 Chevrolet Corvette, a testament to that celebratory year, presents in a striking Black exterior, a timeless choice that accentuates the C3's flowing lines and aggressive stance. The exterior is beautifully complemented by a vibrant Red interior, a bold and classic combination that evokes the spirited era of its birth. Under the hood lies a robust 350 cubic inch V8 engine, paired with a smooth automatic transmission, promising a confident and enjoyable drive whether cruising boulevards or hitting the open road. Showing 0 miles, this Corvette is a pristine example, ready for its next chapter. This is an exceptional opportunity to acquire a significant piece of Corvette history, presented in a truly iconic specification.
