This is the first 911 in over 60 years of production to feature a hybrid powertrain, and Porsche did not arrive here quietly. The T-Hybrid system was developed directly from technology used in the Porsche 919 Hybrid Le Mans race car, combining a new 3.6 liter flat six with an electric motor integrated into the PDK transmission and an electrically driven turbocharger that eliminates lag entirely.
