The Aston Martin DB9 arrived in 2004 as a pivotal model for the storied British marque, ushering in a new era of design and engineering under Ford's ownership. Replacing the outgoing DB7, the DB9 utilized Aston Martin's then-revolutionary VH platform, an aluminum-intensive architecture that promised improved rigidity and lighter weight. Penned by Henrik Fisker, its timeless lines blended elegance with a muscular stance, instantly becoming a modern classic. Available as both a coupe and the open-top Volante, it quickly established itself as the quintessential grand tourer, powered by the glorious 5.9-liter AM11 V12 engine. The DB9 Volante, in particular, offered an intoxicating blend of wind-in-your-hair motoring and the unmistakable soundtrack of its twelve-cylinder heart. This 2016 Aston Martin DB9 Volante represents one of the final iterations of this celebrated model, benefiting from years of refinement before its eventual replacement by the DB11. With a mere 15,051 miles on the odometer, this example has been sparingly enjoyed, presenting in remarkable condition. Under the bonnet lies the iconic 5.9L Gas V12 engine, paired with a smooth automatic transmission, ready to deliver effortless power and an unforgettable driving experience. The convertible body style ensures that every journey is an occasion, whether cruising along the coast or embarking on a cross-continental adventure. This is an opportunity to acquire a beautifully preserved example of Aston Martin's modern classic grand tourer.
