The return of the Supra nameplate in 2019, after a 17-year hiatus, was met with a potent mix of anticipation and debate. Developed in collaboration with BMW, the A90/J29 generation, known as the MkV, brought the legendary Supra back to showrooms with a thoroughly modern interpretation. While some purists initially bristled at the shared platform, the MkV quickly proved its mettle, offering a compelling blend of BMW's renowned inline-six power and Toyota's commitment to driver engagement. It resurrected a beloved icon, introducing it to a new generation of enthusiasts while paying homage to the spirit of its predecessors, particularly the widely revered MkIV. This 2026 Toyota GR Supra MkV Final Edition represents a poignant capstone to this chapter of the Supra's story. With a mere 2,399 miles on its odometer, this example is virtually new, preserving the essence of its factory delivery. Under the hood lies the potent 3.0-liter turbocharged inline-six engine, paired with the responsive 8-speed automatic transmission, delivering the exhilarating performance and refined driving experience that defined the MkV. As a "Final Edition," it carries an inherent significance, marking the culmination of this generation and likely featuring unique aesthetic or equipment enhancements that set it apart. This is a chance to acquire a meticulously preserved piece of modern Supra history.
