The BMW M2 has, in its relatively short lifespan, rapidly ascended to cult status among enthusiasts seeking the purest distillation of BMW's M division ethos. Following in the hallowed footsteps of compact performance legends like the 1 Series M Coupe, the M2 was conceived as a back-to-basics M car, prioritizing agility and driver engagement over outright size and luxury. The G87 generation M2, launched for 2023, continued this tradition, but it's with the introduction of the CS (Competition Sport) variant that the model truly comes into its own. The CS designation signifies a more focused, track-ready machine, often featuring increased power, reduced weight, and enhanced aerodynamics—a formula proven by its M3 and M4 brethren. This particular 2026 M2 CS represents the pinnacle of the current generation, a testament to BMW's commitment to the enthusiast. With a mere 1,500 miles on the odometer, it is presented in virtually as-new condition, a fact underscored by the seller's note that original factory protective plastic remains on interior elements. Power comes from the formidable S58 3.0L twin-turbocharged inline-six engine, here delivering a robust 523 horsepower, channeled through an 8-speed M Steptronic automatic transmission with Drivelogic. The vehicle's pristine state is further protected by a full front paint protection film, ensuring its finish remains immaculate, and it benefits from the full manufacturer warranty, providing peace of mind to its next owner. A clean Carfax confirms its unblemished history and all-original condition. This M2 CS offers a rare chance to acquire a truly special driver's car in exceptional, practically untouched form.
