The Targa has long held a special place in the 911 lineage, born from a perceived need for enhanced safety in open-top motoring during the 1960s. Porsche's innovative roll hoop design, first appearing on the 901-generation in 1965, offered the open-air experience of a convertible with the structural rigidity and protection of a coupe. Over subsequent generations, the Targa evolved, but always retained its distinctive silhouette. The 992-generation Targa, reintroduced with its signature automatic roof mechanism, masterfully blends modern engineering with that timeless aesthetic, offering a unique blend of open-top exhilaration and everyday usability within the iconic 911 platform. This stunning 2024 Porsche 911 Targa 4S exemplifies the latest evolution of this beloved model. With a mere 2,244 miles on the odometer, it presents in exceptional, near-new condition. Under its sophisticated roof lies the potent 3.0L twin-turbocharged flat-six engine, delivering a formidable 443 horsepower, channeled through Porsche's lightning-fast 8-speed PDK transmission. This powertrain, combined with the all-wheel-drive grip of the 4S, ensures breathtaking acceleration and confidence-inspiring handling in all conditions. This is an opportunity to acquire a virtually new example of Porsche's most distinctive 911 variant.
