When Lamborghini first unveiled the Urus in 2018, it marked a seismic shift for the legendary Italian marque. While not their first foray into SUVs – that honor belongs to the venerable LM002 "Rambo Lambo" – the Urus was designed to redefine the performance SUV segment. It combined the heart of a supercar with the practicality of a daily driver, quickly becoming Lamborghini's best-selling model and injecting a new level of dynamism into the brand's portfolio. The Performante, introduced for the 2023 model year, takes the Urus's already formidable capabilities to an even higher plane, shedding weight, sharpening its chassis, and boosting power to deliver a track-focused experience unlike any other SUV. It famously set a new production SUV record at Pikes Peak, cementing its status as the apex predator of its class. This 2024 Lamborghini Urus Performante, with 29,979 miles on the odometer, represents a compelling opportunity to acquire the most extreme iteration of Lamborghini's super SUV. Under its aggressive hood lies the potent 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8 engine, paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission that delivers lightning-fast shifts. While the exact horsepower figure for this specific example isn't provided, the Performante variant typically boasts 657 horsepower, enabling blistering acceleration and a top speed that defies its SUV stature. This Urus Performante offers the thrilling performance and undeniable presence that defines the Lamborghini experience.
