The Aston Martin DB lineage stretches back to the post-war era, with the "DB" honoring Sir David Brown, who bought the company in 1947 and ushered in its golden age of grand tourers. While early DB models like the DB4, DB5, and DB6 cemented the marque's reputation for elegant performance, the DB12, launched in 2023, represents a bold new chapter. Billed by Aston Martin as the "world's first super tourer," it pushes the boundaries of GT capability, blending immense power and sophisticated dynamics with the brand's iconic blend of luxury and style. It signifies a pivotal moment, evolving the grand touring concept for a new generation of enthusiasts, and the Volante convertible variant further amplifies the sensory experience. This stunning 2024 Aston Martin DB12 Volante, with a mere 2,192 miles on the odometer, presents an opportunity to acquire a nearly-new example of this groundbreaking machine. While Aston Martin only provides power figures for production models, the DB12 is renowned for its twin-turbocharged 4.0-liter V8, delivering a prodigious 671 horsepower and 590 lb-ft of torque through an 8-speed automatic transmission. This particular Volante, in its striking configuration, promises an exhilarating open-air driving experience, allowing its occupants to fully immerse themselves in the soundtrack and sensation of a true super tourer. This is a chance to acquire a meticulously maintained example of Aston Martin's latest open-top masterpiece.
