When Lamborghini unveiled the Urus in 2018, it marked a seismic shift for the storied Italian marque, re-entering the SUV segment it last touched with the legendary LM002 "Rambo Lambo" decades prior. The Urus quickly redefined the performance SUV landscape, blending supercar theatrics with everyday usability. Building on this success, Lamborghini introduced the Urus Performante, an even more focused variant designed to push the boundaries of what an SUV could achieve on track. Shedding weight, gaining power, and featuring a more aggressive aerodynamic package, the Performante set a new Pikes Peak record for production SUVs, solidifying its place as the apex predator of the super-SUV world and a true embodiment of Lamborghini's relentless pursuit of performance. This 2023 Lamborghini Urus Performante, with 10,325 miles on the odometer, represents a prime opportunity to acquire a pinnacle of modern automotive engineering. Underneath its sculpted hood lies the same potent twin-turbocharged 4.0-liter V8, delivering an astounding 657 horsepower—a 16 hp bump over the standard Urus—and a colossal 627 lb-ft of torque, channeled through an advanced 8-speed automatic transmission to all four wheels. This particular example showcases the Performante's distinctive aesthetics, including its carbon fiber hood, revised front bumper, and dedicated rear spoiler, all contributing to its menacing stance and enhanced downforce. This Urus Performante offers an immediate entry into the world of uncompromising super-SUV performance and exotic luxury.
