The BMW M3 has long been the benchmark for high-performance sports sedans, a lineage stretching back to the E30 M3's homologation roots in touring car racing. The G80 generation, introduced for 2021, continued this tradition, albeit with a bold new design language and the significant addition of available xDrive all-wheel drive for the first time in an M3 sedan. To celebrate 50 years of BMW M GmbH, the brand released the limited "50 Jahre Edition" for 2023, paying homage to iconic M colors and specifying unique aesthetic touches. This particular 2023 M3 Competition xDrive 50 Jahre Edition stands out not only for its special designation but also for its stunning Technoviolet Metallic finish, a revered Individual color from BMW M's storied past. With 34,504 miles on the odometer, this example is powered by the potent 3.0L Twin-Turbo I6 engine, delivering a formidable 503 horsepower and 479 lb-ft of torque, all channeled through an 8-speed M Steptronic automatic transmission and the traction-enhancing xDrive system. This combination ensures blistering acceleration and exceptional handling dynamics in all conditions. For the enthusiast seeking a modern M3 with a direct connection to the brand's heritage, this 50 Jahre Edition in Technoviolet offers a compelling blend of performance and exclusivity.
