The BMW M3 has long been the benchmark for performance sedans, a legacy forged on racetracks and refined over six generations. What began in 1986 as a homologation special for Group A touring car racing has evolved into a sophisticated yet brutal machine, capable of delivering supercar-baiting performance with everyday usability. The G80 generation, introduced for 2021, marked a significant departure with its controversial new grille, but beneath the polarizing aesthetics lay the most potent M3 to date. This generation also saw the introduction of M xDrive, BMW's performance-tuned all-wheel-drive system, transforming the M3 Competition into an all-weather weapon capable of harnessing its immense power with unprecedented grip. This 2023 M3 Competition M xDrive embodies that evolution, presenting a compelling opportunity to experience the pinnacle of current M engineering. With 31,280 miles on the odometer, this example has been driven, but not excessively so, suggesting a car that has been enjoyed as intended while still having plenty of life left to thrill its next owner. The automatic transmission ensures rapid, seamless gear changes, perfectly complementing the twin-turbocharged inline-six engine that defines the M3's character. This M3 Competition M xDrive is ready to deliver an exhilarating driving experience to its next enthusiast owner.
