The BMW M3 has long been the benchmark for high-performance sports sedans, a legacy stretching back to the E30 generation's homologation roots in touring car racing. The G80 generation, introduced for the 2021 model year, continued this tradition while pushing the boundaries of power and technology. It marked a significant evolution, offering an M xDrive all-wheel-drive system for the first time on a regular production M3, enhancing grip and usability in diverse conditions, and further solidifying its position as a formidable competitor in the performance segment. This 2022 M3 Competition M xDrive, finished in a striking Black Sapphire Metallic over a black interior, embodies the G80's potent blend of luxury and track-ready performance. With 22,463 miles on the odometer, this example has been driven but remains in excellent condition. Its S58 twin-turbocharged 3.0-liter inline-six engine delivers a robust 503 horsepower, channeled through a quick-shifting 8-speed M Steptronic automatic transmission to all four wheels, ensuring exhilarating acceleration and confident handling. This M3 Competition M xDrive is a compelling proposition for the enthusiast seeking a modern performance icon with everyday versatility.
