The Porsche 911 Targa has always occupied a unique space within the revered 911 lineage, offering the open-air exhilaration of a convertible with the added security and distinctive styling of a fixed roll hoop. Introduced in 1966, the Targa was a direct response to anticipated US safety regulations concerning convertibles, quickly establishing itself as an iconic silhouette. The 992 generation Targa, launched in 2020, masterfully blends modern technology with this timeless design, featuring the complex automatic roof mechanism that stows the entire rear glass section to reveal the classic Targa experience. The Heritage Design Edition takes this homage a step further, drawing inspiration from Porsche's rich history of motorsport and design, echoing elements from the 1950s and early '60s. Limited to just 992 units worldwide, these special editions celebrate Porsche's past while delivering the cutting-edge performance of the present. This particular 2021 Porsche 911 Targa 4S Heritage Design Edition is an exceptionally rare find, showing a mere 84 original miles since new. Power comes from the potent 3.0L twin-turbocharged flat-six, sending 443 horsepower to all four wheels through a highly desirable 7-speed manual transmission, a true enthusiast's choice. Finished in a stunning Paint-to-Sample Slate Gray, this example is further distinguished by its exquisite Bordeaux Red and Atacama Beige Heritage Design leather interior, a striking combination that perfectly complements its retro-inspired aesthetic. This is a pristine example of a highly collectible modern Porsche, ready for its next discerning owner.
