The DBS nameplate has long represented the pinnacle of Aston Martin’s grand touring prowess, first appearing in 1967 as a more modern, V8-ready successor to the DB6. While the original DBS eventually spawned the legendary AM V8, it was the revival in 2007 that truly cemented its status as a flagship, gaining fame through its cinematic appearances. The current generation, introduced as the DBS Superleggera, pays homage to the lightweight coachbuilding philosophy of Carrozzeria Touring Superleggera, which crafted some of Aston Martin's most iconic bodies. As the ultimate expression of the DB11 platform, the DBS Superleggera — and its Volante convertible counterpart — marries breathtaking performance with unparalleled elegance, sitting atop the Aston Martin range as a true super grand tourer. This 2021 Aston Martin DBS Superleggera Volante, with 12,096 miles on the odometer, exemplifies that blend of power and panache. Beneath its sculpted bonnet lies the formidable 5.2-liter twin-turbocharged V12 engine, delivering an exhilarating soundtrack and immense power through an 8-speed automatic transmission. The sophisticated China Grey exterior perfectly complements the car's muscular yet graceful lines, while the Obsidian Black interior provides a luxurious and driver-focused cockpit. This is a machine designed to devour continents in supreme comfort, with the added thrill of open-air motoring. For the enthusiast seeking the ultimate blend of performance, luxury, and open-top exhilaration, this DBS Superleggera Volante stands ready.
