The Aston Martin DBS Superleggera, unveiled in 2018, resurrected two legendary names from the marque's storied past. "DBS" harkens back to the grand tourer introduced in 1967, designed as a more modern, V8-powered successor to the DB6, while "Superleggera" pays homage to the lightweight construction methods employed by Carrozzeria Touring Superleggera, a technique Aston Martin famously adopted for models like the DB4. As the flagship of Aston Martin's lineup, the DBS Superleggera was engineered to be the ultimate super GT, a potent blend of breathtaking performance and opulent luxury, a true iron fist in a velvet glove. The Volante convertible variant, arriving shortly after the coupe, further amplified the sensory experience, allowing its occupants to fully immerse themselves in the glorious soundtrack of its twin-turbo V12. This 2021 Aston Martin DBS Superleggera Volante, with just 5,727 miles on the odometer, presents an exceptional opportunity to experience this pinnacle of British automotive artistry. Cloaked in a stunning Satin Xenon Grey exterior over a sophisticated black interior, its aesthetic is one of understated aggression. Under the sculpted bonnet lies the formidable 5.2L twin-turbocharged V12 engine, a masterpiece of engineering that delivers relentless power, channeled through a responsive 8-speed automatic transmission. This particular example promises the full, unadulterated DBS Volante experience, combining open-air exhilaration with the raw potency of its twelve-cylinder heart. For the enthusiast seeking the ultimate blend of performance, prestige, and open-top motoring, this DBS Superleggera Volante stands ready.
