Carroll Shelby's legacy of extracting outrageous performance from the Ford Mustang began in 1965, and the Super Snake stands as the ultimate expression of that philosophy. Born from a desire to push boundaries even further than the already potent GT500, the original 1967 Super Snake was a one-off experimental car, a monstrous 600-horsepower beast that cemented its legendary status. Decades later, Shelby American revived the Super Snake name, applying its magic to modern Mustangs to create limited-production, track-devouring machines that honor the spirit of their namesake. The S550 generation Super Snake continues this tradition, blending contemporary technology with raw, unadulterated power. This 2020 Ford Mustang Super Snake Bold Edition convertible is an exceptionally rare example, boasting a mere 92 miles on the odometer. It represents a meticulously crafted evolution of the already formidable Mustang GT, enhanced by Shelby American's comprehensive performance and aesthetic upgrades. Under the hood lies a supercharged 5.0L Gas V8 engine, paired with a rewarding manual transmission, promising an visceral driving experience that connects driver and machine in the most direct way possible. The "Bold Edition" designation signifies an exclusive package, making this particular Super Snake even more distinct among its already limited brethren. For the collector or enthusiast seeking a truly unique and powerful modern American muscle car, this Super Snake Bold Edition offers an unparalleled opportunity to own a piece of Shelby's enduring legacy.
