The Ferrari 488 GTB, unveiled in 2015, marked a significant evolution in Maranello's mid-engine V8 lineage, succeeding the naturally aspirated 458 Italia. Its name, 488, refers to the engine's unitary displacement, while GTB stands for Gran Turismo Berlinetta. This generation brought forced induction back to the mainstream Ferrari V8 for the first time since the legendary F40, with a twin-turbocharged 3.9-liter V8 engine delivering a staggering 661 horsepower. Beyond its prodigious power, the 488 was celebrated for its advanced aerodynamics, incorporating active elements and sophisticated electronic controls like the Side Slip Control 2 (SSC2) to make its immense performance accessible. It quickly became a benchmark for supercar performance, earning accolades globally and further cementing Ferrari's dominance in the segment. This 2020 Ferrari 488 GTB, showing just 3,672 miles, exemplifies the pinnacle of personalization through Ferrari's exclusive Tailor Made program. The "Tailor Made" designation signifies a bespoke creation, allowing the original owner to delve deep into Ferrari's vast palette of materials, colors, and finishes to craft a truly unique machine. Further enhancing its distinctiveness are the airbrushed Scuderia shields, a traditional hand-painted detail that speaks to Ferrari's heritage of craftsmanship, and the inclusion of a front lift system, a practical yet desirable option for navigating real-world driving conditions. Under the rear glass, the 3.9L twin-turbo V8, paired with a seamless automatic transmission, stands ready to deliver an exhilarating driving experience. This meticulously specified 488 GTB represents a rare opportunity to acquire a highly individualized example of Ferrari's acclaimed mid-engine supercar.
