The McLaren Super Series, beginning with the 12C and evolving through the 650S, reached a new zenith with the introduction of the 720S in 2017. Designed to replace the 650S, the 720S was a radical leap forward, showcasing McLaren's relentless pursuit of aerodynamic efficiency and lightweight construction. Its distinctive "double-skin" dihedral doors, which channel air to cool the engine, and the revolutionary Monocage II carbon fibre tub were engineering marvels. Power came from an all-new 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8, codenamed M840T, producing a breathtaking 710 horsepower (720 PS, hence the name), catapulting it to 60 mph in under 3 seconds and a top speed exceeding 200 mph. The 720S quickly established itself as a benchmark in the supercar segment, lauded for its uncanny blend of extreme performance and surprising daily usability. This 2019 McLaren 720S Performance Convertible, with 16,818 miles on the odometer, presents an opportunity to experience that unparalleled performance with the added exhilaration of open-air motoring. Its potent 4.0L Gas V8 engine, paired with a seamless automatic transmission, delivers relentless acceleration and a soundtrack that transforms with the retractable hardtop stowed away. The "Performance" trim level enhances its already striking aesthetics and driver-focused interior, making every journey an event. This is a chance to acquire a meticulously engineered machine that continues to define the modern supercar experience.
