The Shelby Super Snake has long been the most extreme iteration of an already potent Mustang, a nameplate that dates back to Carroll Shelby’s legendary 1967 GT500 Super Snake. That original, one-off monster was built with a lightweight 427 competition engine, intended to showcase what Shelby American could do. Fast forward to the modern era, and the Super Snake continues this tradition of pushing boundaries. Built on the sixth-generation Mustang platform, the 2019 Super Snake transforms the already capable S550 into a street-legal track weapon, blending classic American muscle with contemporary performance engineering. Each Super Snake is a limited-production vehicle, receiving extensive modifications from Shelby American, ensuring exclusivity and unparalleled performance that honors its storied heritage. This particular 2019 Ford Mustang Super Snake embodies that ethos, presenting in exceptional condition with just 5,999 miles on the odometer. Under the hood lies the heart of this beast: a supercharged 5.0L Coyote V8, meticulously enhanced by Shelby to deliver immense power, all channeled through a driver-focused manual transmission. The result is an exhilarating driving experience that is both visceral and precise, a testament to Shelby American's commitment to performance. For the enthusiast seeking a truly special modern muscle car with a legendary name, this Super Snake represents an incredible opportunity.
