The 991 generation of the Porsche 911 GT3 arrived in 2013, marking a significant evolution for Porsche's track-focused road car. While the initial 991.1 GT3 controversially adopted an electric power steering system and the PDK-only transmission, the subsequent 991.2 iteration, launched in 2017, brought back a manual transmission option and refined the formula with a new 4.0-liter naturally aspirated flat-six engine. This powerplant, derived from the 911 GT3 R race car and the 911 R road car, revved to a thrilling 9,000 rpm, producing 500 horsepower and solidifying the GT3's reputation as one of the most engaging driver's cars on the planet. The 991.2 generation further honed the aerodynamic profile and chassis dynamics, cementing its place as a high-water mark for naturally aspirated performance in the modern era. This stunning 2018 Porsche 911 GT3 exemplifies the breed, presented in iconic Guards Red over a black leather and Alcantara interior with striking red stitching. With just 6,109 miles on the odometer, it has been sparingly driven and meticulously cared for, benefiting from full body paint protection film (PPF) from new. Power comes from the glorious 4.0-liter naturally aspirated flat-six, paired with the lightning-quick PDK transmission. This example is highly optioned for the enthusiast, featuring the essential carbon fiber bucket seats and the invaluable front axle lift system, ensuring practicality without compromising its track pedigree. Further enhancements include carbon fiber interior trim, 20-inch wheels painted in satin black with a Guards Red outer lip, and the formidable stopping power of Porsche Ceramic Composite Brakes (PCCB) with distinctive yellow calipers. This is an exceptional opportunity to acquire a meticulously specified and preserved example of the celebrated 991.2 GT3.
