When Lamborghini unveiled the Huracán Performante, it wasn't merely another iteration of their V10 supercar; it was a declaration of intent. Designed to dominate circuits, the Performante introduced Aerodinamica Lamborghini Attiva (ALA), a revolutionary active aerodynamic system that could vary aero load and vectoring in milliseconds, allowing for unprecedented grip and cornering speeds. This technological marvel, combined with a 631-hp naturally aspirated 5.2L V10, forged carbon fiber components, and a stiffer suspension, propelled the Performante to reclaim the Nürburgring production car lap record, cementing its place as one of the most significant performance cars of its era. It represented the pinnacle of Lamborghini's naturally aspirated V10 development, a raw, unadulterated expression of speed and engineering. This 2018 Huracán Performante, with 11,444 miles on the odometer, takes that extreme philosophy and elevates it into the hypercar realm. While the factory Performante was never offered with a manual transmission, this example has been comprehensively upgraded with a SheepeyRace twin-turbo kit, transforming the 5.2L V10 into a force producing an astonishing 1350 wheel horsepower. The build features PTE next-gen 6266 mirror image ball-bearing turbos, dual Turbosmart Gen V Hypergates and blow-off valves, and a sophisticated air-to-water intercooling system with handcrafted heat exchangers and an external 55 GPM pump. Power is managed by a Motec M142 with a Level 3 upgrade and a proprietary Unitronic TCU flash, complemented by a flex-fuel upgrade and surge tank setup. To handle the colossal power, the transmission has been thoroughly fortified with a Dodson Promax 9-plate clutch, billet outer cage, billet A/B clutch basket assembly, billet stubs, and a Wavetrac ATB LSD for the DL800, ensuring every bit of power is put to the pavement. This is an opportunity to acquire a Performante that pushes the boundaries of what a supercar can be.
