When Lamborghini unveiled the Huracán Performante in 2017, it wasn't just another variant; it was a defiant statement of intent. Developed with extensive use of forged carbon fiber (Forged Composites in Lamborghini parlance) for its Aerodinamica Lamborghini Attiva (ALA) active aero system, the Performante shattered expectations. Its naturally aspirated 5.2-liter V10, producing 631 horsepower, propelled it to a Nürburgring lap record for production cars, dethroning the Porsche 918 Spyder and cementing its place in automotive lore as a track weapon with supercar presence. This was the Huracán unleashed, a direct descendant of Lamborghini's racing DNA, and a fitting evolution of the V10 lineage that began with the Gallardo. This particular 2018 Huracán Performante, with 14,000 miles on the odometer, takes that already formidable platform and elevates it into hypercar territory. While the factory Performante is celebrated for its atmospheric V10, this example has been meticulously upgraded with a twin-turbo AMS Alpha kit, transforming its character entirely. The addition of forced induction to the 5.2L V10 engine delivers an astronomical increase in power, launching this all-wheel-drive coupe into an entirely different performance echelon, far beyond its original 631 horsepower. This is a rare chance to acquire a Performante that pushes the boundaries of extreme performance even further.
