When the Lamborghini Aventador burst onto the scene in 2011, it wasn't just a successor to the Murciélago; it was a defiant statement, a redefinition of the V12 supercar. Named, as per tradition, after a legendary fighting bull, the Aventador embodied raw power and theatrical design. Its carbon-fiber monocoque chassis, push-rod suspension, and naturally aspirated 6.5-liter V12 engine were engineering marvels, propelling it to instant icon status. The LP 700-4 designation signified its 700 PS (690 hp) output and all-wheel drive, a formula that would evolve and intensify throughout its production run. In 2016, the Aventador S arrived, a significant refresh that further sharpened the beast, boosting power to 730 hp and introducing four-wheel steering for unparalleled agility. This 2018 Lamborghini Aventador LP 740-4 S stands as a prime example of that refined aggression. Showing 17,113 miles, its mighty 6.5L V12 engine now delivers a formidable 730 hp and 509 ft. lbs. of torque, channeled through its lightning-fast ISR manual transmission to all four wheels. While originally finished in a factory hue, this particular coupe commands attention with its striking matte black wrap, giving it an even more menacing presence. Further enhancing its auditory assault is a full aftermarket exhaust system, ensuring that the glorious V12 symphony is heard and felt with unadulterated passion. This is an opportunity to acquire a visceral, uncompromised twelve-cylinder experience from the heart of Sant'Agata Bolognese.
