The C7 generation of the Chevrolet Corvette, launched for the 2014 model year, marked a significant departure for the iconic American sports car. It was the first Corvette since the C1 to wear the Stingray nameplate, a nod to its aggressive, aerodynamically sculpted design and its spiritual connection to the legendary 1960s models. Underneath its angular bodywork, the C7 Stingray introduced an all-new aluminum frame, a substantial upgrade over previous generations, enhancing rigidity and handling precision. Power came from the LT1 V8, a direct-injected 6.2-liter small block producing 455 horsepower (460 with the performance exhaust), paired with either a seven-speed manual or, as in this case, an advanced eight-speed automatic transmission. This generation successfully blended cutting-edge technology with classic Corvette performance, earning widespread acclaim and solidifying its place as a formidable global competitor. This 2018 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray Convertible, presented in a menacing Black over a Black leather interior, exemplifies the C7's appeal. With 118,483 miles on the odometer, this two-owner example boasts a perfect CARFAX and an impressive list of factory options. It features the desirable 8-speed paddle-shift automatic transmission, the exhilarating NPP dual-mode performance exhaust, and the striking Carbon Fiber Interior Trim Package. Further enhancing its aggressive stance are the Z06 Chrome Wheels and Carbon Flash Badge Package, complemented by practical Lloyd's Mats. The power convertible top, dual power seats, and Bose premium sound system ensure a premium experience, whether cruising or carving corners. This well-equipped and visually stunning C7 Stingray Convertible offers an accessible entry into modern Corvette performance and style.
