The Porsche 911 Carrera, a name synonymous with sports car excellence, has evolved through decades of engineering refinement while steadfastly retaining its iconic silhouette and rear-engine layout. The 991 generation, introduced in 2011, represented a significant leap forward, growing slightly in size to enhance stability and interior room, yet shedding weight through intelligent design. It was the first 911 generation to widely embrace electric power steering and, in its later 991.2 iteration, marked the pivotal shift to turbocharged engines for all Carrera models, fundamentally redefining the driving experience with a surge of accessible torque while maintaining the rev-happy character Porsche enthusiasts cherish. This particular 2017 Porsche 911 Carrera Coupe, a prime example from the celebrated 991.2 generation, showcases the potent combination of modern performance and timeless appeal. With 30,323 miles on the odometer, it has been enjoyed but maintains its sharp edge. Power is delivered through the renowned Porsche Doppelkupplung (PDK) transmission, celebrated for its lightning-fast shifts and seamless power delivery, making it equally adept on winding roads or in daily traffic. Distinctive touches like the Porsche Crest embossed on the headrests and the standard 8.5J x 19" front and 11.5J x 19" rear Carrera wheels further elevate its classic sports car presence. This 911 Carrera offers an enticing blend of everyday usability and exhilarating performance for its next discerning owner.
