The 991 generation of the Porsche 911, introduced in 2012, marked a significant evolution for Stuttgart's iconic sports car. While retaining the classic rear-engined silhouette, the 991 was an entirely new platform, larger and more sophisticated than its predecessors. For the 2017 model year, the Carrera models received a pivotal update: the naturally aspirated flat-six engines were replaced with a new 3.0-liter twin-turbocharged unit. This move, while initially met with purist debate, ultimately delivered a substantial boost in torque and efficiency, making the 991.2 Carrera a supremely capable and engaging daily driver or touring machine, solidifying its place in the 911 lineage as a bridge to modern performance. This particular 2017 Porsche 911 Carrera convertible embodies the spirit of open-air exhilaration combined with everyday usability. Showing 85,306 miles, this example has clearly been enjoyed as intended, its 3.0L twin-turbocharged H6 engine paired with a crisp 7-speed transmission ready to deliver its characteristic blend of power and precision. The convertible top invites drivers to experience the intoxicating flat-six soundtrack unfiltered, transforming every journey into an event. This Carrera convertible offers a compelling opportunity to acquire a modern 911 with a proven history, ready for countless more miles of driving enjoyment.
