The 991 generation of the Porsche 911, introduced in 2011, marked a significant evolution for the iconic sports car, maintaining its timeless silhouette while embracing modern engineering. It was the first 911 to feature an all-new platform since the 993, boasting a longer wheelbase and wider front track that enhanced stability and driving dynamics. For the Carrera models, the 991.2 refresh in 2016 brought a monumental shift: the introduction of a new twin-turbocharged 3.0-liter flat-six engine across the range. This move, while initially met with purist skepticism, ultimately delivered a substantial boost in torque and efficiency, cementing the 991.2's place as a high-performance bargain in the 911 lineage, offering everyday usability with thrilling capability. This stunning 2017 911 Carrera convertible exemplifies the breed, showcasing the potent 3.0L twin-turbo H6 engine paired with a crisp automatic transmission, ready to deliver an exhilarating open-air experience. With 48,094 miles on the odometer, this example has been enjoyed as intended, offering a compelling entry point into 911 ownership. The convertible top allows for an immersive connection to the road and the signature flat-six soundtrack, making every drive an event. This Carrera convertible presents an enticing opportunity to acquire a modern classic with the perfect blend of performance and open-top exhilaration.
