The 991 generation of the Porsche 911, introduced in 2012, marked a significant evolution for Stuttgart's iconic rear-engined sports car. Larger than its predecessors, with a longer wheelbase and wider front track, it offered enhanced stability and interior room while retaining the unmistakable 911 profile. For the 2017 model year, the 991.2 refresh brought a monumental change: the Carrera and Carrera S models transitioned from naturally aspirated flat-six engines to a new generation of twin-turbocharged 3.0-liter units. This move, while initially debated by purists, delivered a substantial boost in torque and efficiency, cementing the 991.2's reputation as a remarkably capable and versatile daily driver and performance machine. This particular 2017 911 Carrera exemplifies the breed, presented in a crisp white exterior over a luxurious black leather interior. Under its rear decklid resides the potent 3.0L twin-turbocharged flat-six, paired with Porsche's renowned automatic transmission, delivering power to the rear wheels. Showing 59,825 miles from its single previous owner, this example is well-equipped with desirable features such as heated sport seats, a navigation system, and power windows, promising both spirited driving and comfortable cruising. This 991.2 Carrera offers an enticing entry into modern 911 ownership.
