The Porsche 911, an icon born in 1963, has continuously evolved while maintaining its distinctive silhouette and rear-engine philosophy. The 991 generation, introduced in 2012, represented a significant leap forward, growing slightly in size and wheelbase while embracing a more modern aesthetic and advanced technology. The Carrera S variant, in particular, has always been the sweet spot for many enthusiasts, offering a potent blend of performance and everyday usability, positioned just below the more hardcore GT models. The 991.2 refresh, which this 2017 model represents, brought with it a momentous shift to turbocharged engines across the standard Carrera range, enhancing both power and efficiency. This particular 2017 Porsche 911 Carrera S Convertible presents a compelling opportunity to experience the exhilarating open-air performance of the 991.2 generation. With a mere 10,533 miles on the odometer, its 3.8L turbocharged flat-six engine remains eager to unleash its full potential through the seamless automatic transmission. The convertible top offers the best of both worlds, allowing drivers to soak in the engine's symphony and the surrounding environment on demand. This low-mileage 911 Carrera S Convertible is a chance to acquire a meticulously maintained example of a modern Porsche legend.
