When Mercedes-AMG embarked on creating a dedicated sports car to rival the established titans, the result was the AMG GT. Introduced in 2014 as the successor to the mighty SLS AMG, the GT shed some of its predecessor's overt grand touring aspirations in favor of a more focused, agile, and visceral driving experience. It was the second car developed entirely in-house by AMG, defined by its long-hood, short-deck proportions, and a potent new 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8 engine. The GT represented a pivotal moment, cementing AMG's capability to build world-class sports cars from the ground up, rather than simply tuning existing Mercedes platforms. This 2017 Mercedes-Benz AMG GT Coupe embodies that pure vision, presenting in a refined, yet aggressive, specification. With 30,592 miles on the odometer, this example features the highly desirable AMG Performance Exhaust, allowing its hand-built V8 to sing its full, glorious song. The cabin is elevated by the Exclusive Interior Package, enveloping occupants in a luxurious and driver-focused environment, while the Panorama Roof bathes the interior in natural light, enhancing the sense of spaciousness. This is an opportunity to acquire a true AMG-engineered sports car, ready to deliver exhilarating performance and sophisticated style.
