When the Murciélago bowed out, Lamborghini faced the daunting task of replacing a legend. The Aventador, launched in 2011, rose to the challenge with an audacious design and a technical tour de force that redefined the supercar landscape. Named, in true Lamborghini fashion, after a fighting bull, the Aventador introduced a new era for the V12 flagship, featuring an all-new carbon-fiber monocoque chassis and a completely redesigned engine. Its angular, aggressive lines were inspired by aviation, particularly stealth jets, making it an instant icon and a worthy successor to a lineage that includes the Miura, Countach, and Diablo. This 2017 Lamborghini Aventador represents the purest expression of the original LP 700-4, before the introduction of the S and SVJ variants. With 0 miles on the odometer, this example presents a unique opportunity to acquire a time capsule, a brand-new Aventador six years after it rolled off the Sant'Agata Bolognese production line. Its naturally aspirated 6.5-liter V12 engine, producing 690 horsepower and paired with a lightning-quick ISR transmission, remains untouched, ready to deliver its symphonic roar and brutal acceleration for the very first time. This is a rare chance to experience the unadulterated thrill of a new-generation Lamborghini V12 as it was originally conceived.
