When Jaguar unveiled the F-Type in 2013, it marked a triumphant return to the brand's sporting roots, a spiritual successor to the legendary E-Type. Designed to be a pure two-seater sports car, it quickly captivated enthusiasts with its stunning design and a soundtrack that could rival an opera. The "R" designation, introduced shortly after the F-Type's launch, signaled the arrival of the supercharged 5.0-liter V8, transforming the elegant roadster into a ferocious performance machine capable of challenging the best in its class. This second generation of the F-Type, with its refined chassis and sharper dynamics, cemented its place as a quintessential modern British sports car, blending luxury with exhilarating performance. This 2017 Jaguar F-Type R Convertible, with just 23,773 miles on the odometer, exemplifies the model's potent blend of power and panache. Beneath its striking green exterior, a sophisticated tan interior awaits, creating a timeless and elegant aesthetic. The heart of this F-Type R is the formidable 5.0L supercharged V8 engine, paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission featuring Jaguar's QuickShift technology, offering Sport and Sequential Shift modes for an engaging driving experience. This particular example promises the full, unadulterated F-Type R experience, from its head-turning looks to its spine-tingling exhaust note. For the discerning enthusiast, this F-Type R Convertible offers an opportunity to acquire a truly special machine.
