The Ford Mustang Shelby GT350, resurrected for the S550 generation, stands as a modern icon of American performance. Conceived as a track-focused weapon, it pays homage to Carroll Shelby's original 1965 GT350 by offering a purer, more visceral driving experience than its stablemates. At its heart is the remarkable "Voodoo" 5.2-liter flat-plane crank V8, a naturally aspirated masterpiece revving to 8,250 RPM and delivering 526 horsepower and 429 lb-ft of torque. This engine, unique to the GT350 and GT350R, marked a significant departure for Ford, bringing exotic engine characteristics to a mainstream performance car and solidifying its place in Mustang lore as a truly special machine. This 2017 Shelby GT350, with 19,689 miles, elevates that already formidable foundation to an entirely new level. While the Voodoo V8 is celebrated for its atmospheric shriek, this example has been professionally enhanced with a supercharger system, transforming its character and unleashing monumental power far beyond its original output. Mated to its factory manual transmission, this coupe promises an even more exhilarating and engaging driving experience, pushing the boundaries of what a GT350 can be. For the enthusiast seeking a GT350 with an aggressive edge and unmatched performance, this supercharged example presents an extraordinary opportunity.
