The C7 generation of the Chevrolet Corvette, launched in 2014, marked a significant return to form for America's sports car, re-establishing its position as a world-class performer. Within this acclaimed generation, the Grand Sport model, introduced for 2017, carved out a unique niche. It blended the naturally aspirated power of the Stingray's LT1 engine with the wider body, enhanced aerodynamics, and sophisticated chassis components of the mighty Z06. This recipe delivered a Corvette that was equally at home on a winding back road or a track day, offering a purist's driving experience without the supercharged complexity of its bigger sibling. The Grand Sport proudly carried on a lineage dating back to the legendary five lightweight C2 models built by Zora Arkus-Duntov in 1963, designed to dominate road courses. This particular 2017 Corvette Grand Sport 2LT is a prime example of the model's intent, showing a mere 9,630 miles on its 6.2L V8 engine. It comes equipped with the highly desirable Z07 Ultimate Performance Package, which adds carbon ceramic brakes, Michelin Pilot Super Sport Cup 2 tires, and a more aggressive aero package for unparalleled grip and stopping power. Further enhancing its track prowess are the CFZ Carbon Fiber Ground Effects Package and the Z15 Grand Sport Heritage Package. Power is routed through a rarely seen 7-speed manual transmission, offering an engaging and direct connection to the car's formidable capabilities. Finished in a striking color combination with a J6F Red brake caliper option and DNE Red Hash Mark Fender Stripes, this Grand Sport also benefits from approximately $7,000 in tasteful aftermarket additions. This is an opportunity to acquire a meticulously specified C7 Grand Sport, ready for its next enthusiast owner.
