The Grand Sport nameplate holds a revered place in Corvette history, harkening back to Zora Arkus-Duntov's original five lightweight, race-bred prototypes from 1963. Designed to challenge European dominance at endurance races, these C2-era Grand Sports were truly special, though their racing career was cut short by GM's internal racing ban. The spirit of the Grand Sport was revived in the C4 generation, offering a wider body and enhanced performance, and again for the C6, bridging the gap between the standard Corvette and the Z06. For the C7 generation, the Grand Sport continued this tradition, blending the naturally aspirated 6.2L LT1 V8 of the Stingray with the wider body, aggressive aerodynamics, and track-focused suspension components of the Z06, creating a street-legal track weapon that offered exceptional balance and driver engagement. This 2017 Chevrolet Corvette Grand Sport 3LT embodies that performance pedigree, presented in a striking finish over a well-appointed interior. With 24,673 miles on the odometer, its 6.2L LT1 V8 engine is paired with a responsive automatic transmission, delivering the potent acceleration and exhilarating soundtrack expected of a modern Corvette. The 3LT trim level ensures a comprehensive suite of comfort and technology features, making this coupe as enjoyable on a long road trip as it is on a spirited backroad blast. This Grand Sport offers a compelling opportunity to own a purebred American sports car, ready for its next enthusiast owner.
