The C7-generation Corvette Grand Sport arrived in 2017, resurrecting a legendary nameplate that first appeared in 1963. Zora Arkus-Duntov's original Grand Sport was a lightweight, race-bred machine built to circumvent GM's internal racing ban, with only five examples ever produced. The C7 Grand Sport, while a production car, carried that same spirit, blending the naturally aspirated power of the Stingray's LT1 engine with the wider body, enhanced aerodynamics, and track-focused suspension components of the mighty Z06. It offered enthusiasts a purist's Corvette, prioritizing balance and agility on the road or track, a true spiritual successor to its storied predecessors. This particular 2017 Chevrolet Corvette Grand Sport 2LT, with 26,431 miles on the odometer, exemplifies that philosophy. Equipped with the desirable Heritage Package, it proudly displays the iconic fender hash marks that pay homage to the original Grand Sports. The 2LT trim level ensures a well-appointed interior, balancing its performance credentials with comfort and convenience for everyday driving. This Grand Sport represents a compelling opportunity to own a modern classic that perfectly bridges the gap between raw power and refined handling.
