The Grand Sport nameplate holds a revered place in Corvette history, harkening back to Zora Arkus-Duntov's original five lightweight, race-bred prototypes of 1963. Born from a desire to compete with the world's best, these rare machines cemented the Corvette's performance credentials. Decades later, the C6 generation resurrected the Grand Sport, offering a compelling blend of Z06-level widebody styling, suspension components, and braking, paired with the robust LS3 engine. The C7 Grand Sport continued this tradition, providing enthusiasts with a track-focused package that delivered exceptional handling and everyday usability, slotting perfectly between the Stingray and the supercharged Z06. This 2017 Chevrolet Corvette Grand Sport Coupe exemplifies that potent formula, presented in excellent condition with just 17,643 miles on the odometer. Power comes from the naturally aspirated 6.2L LT1 V8 engine, producing 460 horsepower and sending it to the rear wheels via a highly engaging 7-speed manual transmission. This particular example boasts a desirable glass top, allowing for an open-air experience, and is further enhanced by aerodynamic side skirts. Having been cherished by a single owner, this Corvette Grand Sport offers a superb opportunity to acquire a well-maintained example of a modern American performance icon.
