The C7 generation Corvette Grand Sport, introduced for the 2017 model year, revived a legendary nameplate with a specific mission: to bridge the gap between the standard Stingray and the track-focused Z06. Drawing inspiration from the five lightweight, race-bred Grand Sport Corvettes built in 1963, the C7 Grand Sport offered an intoxicating blend of naturally aspirated power and Z06-derived handling. It featured a wider body, enhanced aerodynamics, magnetic ride control, and a dry-sump lubrication system for its LT1 V8, making it a formidable performer on both road and track without the supercharger complexities of its more potent sibling. This generation solidified the Grand Sport's place as the enthusiast's choice for balanced, engaging performance. This particular 2017 Chevrolet Corvette Grand Sport 3LT Convertible, with 72,811 miles on the odometer, embodies that spirit. Powered by the robust 6.2L LT1 V8 engine paired with an automatic transmission, it offers exhilarating performance with the added thrill of open-air motoring. Equipped with the desirable 3LT trim, it boasts a premium interior experience, while the visible carbon fiber ground effects and lightweight carbon fiber wheels further enhance its aggressive stance and performance credentials. The UQT performance data recorder option allows for detailed analysis of driving dynamics, appealing to those who appreciate honing their skills. This Grand Sport Convertible is ready to deliver its next owner a captivating blend of American muscle and sophisticated handling.
