The BMW M3 has long been the benchmark for high-performance sports sedans, a legacy forged on circuits and autobahns alike. The F80 generation, produced from 2014 to 2020, marked a significant shift in the M3's storied history. For the first time, the M3 sedan and M4 coupe diverged as distinct models, both powered by the revolutionary S55 twin-turbocharged inline-six engine. This powerplant, delivering 425 horsepower in its standard tune, was a departure from the naturally aspirated engines of its predecessors, yet it retained the M division's commitment to responsiveness and exhilarating power delivery, enabling a 0-60 mph sprint in just under 4 seconds. The F80 M3 continued the tradition of blending everyday usability with track-day prowess, solidifying its place as a quintessential driver's car. This 2017 BMW M3 embodies that potent combination, presented in a classic finish that accentuates its aggressive yet sophisticated lines. With 30,436 miles on its 3.0L twin-turbocharged I6 engine, this example has been driven enough to be enjoyed but retains plenty of life for its next enthusiast owner. Power is sent to the rear wheels via a quick-shifting automatic transmission, ensuring an engaging driving experience whether navigating city streets or carving through backroads. This is an opportunity to acquire a modern legend, ready to deliver thrills for years to come.
