The Porsche 911 R, a nameplate resurrected for 2016, immediately evokes the spirit of its legendary 1967 predecessor. That original R was a lightweight homologation special, built in extremely limited numbers (just 20 examples) to dominate endurance racing, stripping away every ounce of unnecessary weight to create the purest driving machine. The 2016 iteration brilliantly channeled this philosophy, delivering a back-to-basics, analog driving experience in an increasingly digital world. It eschewed turbos and PDK transmissions, instead pairing the naturally aspirated 4.0-liter flat-six from the GT3 RS with a bespoke six-speed manual gearbox. Production was capped at a mere 991 units globally, making it an instant collector's item and one of the most sought-after modern Porsches. This particular 2016 Porsche 911 R, presented by Canepa, represents a truly unique offering. Showing an incredible 0 miles on the odometer, it is, in essence, a brand-new vehicle, preserved in time since its delivery. The opportunity to acquire a 911 R in such pristine, undriven condition is virtually unprecedented, allowing its next custodian to be the very first to experience its unadulterated performance and tactile engagement. This is an unparalleled chance to own a piece of modern Porsche legend, untouched and ready to be driven as Zuffenhausen intended.
