The Porsche 911 Targa has always occupied a unique space within the revered 911 lineage, offering an open-air experience without sacrificing the iconic silhouette and structural rigidity of the coupe. Introduced in 1965, the Targa was a response to anticipated US safety regulations regarding convertibles, quickly establishing itself as a beloved variant. The 991 generation Targa, launched in 2014, marked a triumphant return to the original concept with its stunning, fully automatic retractable roof panel and fixed, wraparound rear glass. This generation perfectly blended modern engineering with nostalgic design, offering the best of both worlds. This 2016 Porsche 911 Targa 4S exemplifies that perfect blend, presenting in excellent condition with 34,901 miles on the odometer. Power comes from the naturally aspirated 3.8-liter flat-six engine, a powerplant celebrated for its linear delivery and captivating soundtrack, here paired with the highly sought-after 7-speed manual transmission. The "4S" designation means it benefits from the wider body of the Carrera 4S and standard all-wheel drive, providing enhanced grip and a more assertive stance. This Targa 4S represents an exceptional opportunity to acquire a modern classic, combining open-top driving pleasure with the engagement of a manual gearbox and the timeless appeal of the 911.
