The Porsche 911 GTS, first introduced with the 997 generation, was conceived to bridge the gap between the Carrera S and the more track-focused GT3. It offered a compelling blend of enhanced performance, distinctive styling, and everyday usability, quickly becoming a favorite among enthusiasts seeking a more engaging driving experience without sacrificing comfort. For the 991 generation, the GTS further refined this formula, arriving with the naturally aspirated 3.8-liter flat-six engine, wider bodywork from the Carrera 4, and a host of standard performance upgrades that made it an instant classic for those who appreciated the purity of Porsche's naturally aspirated era. This particular 2016 Porsche 911 Carrera GTS Convertible exemplifies the final iteration of the naturally aspirated 991.1 Carrera lineup. Showing just 23,065 miles on its odometer, this example features the potent 3.8L flat-six engine, delivering a responsive and sonorous driving experience that is increasingly rare in modern sports cars. Paired with Porsche's renowned 7-speed PDK transmission, it offers lightning-fast shifts and exceptional performance, whether cruising or carving corners. The Convertible body style allows for an open-air immersion into the intoxicating sounds and sensations only a naturally aspirated 911 can provide. This GTS represents a prime opportunity to acquire a highly sought-after chapter in the illustrious 911 lineage.
