The 991 generation of the Porsche 911, produced from 2011 to 2019, marked a significant evolution in the iconic sports car's lineage. While retaining the classic rear-engined layout, the 991 introduced a longer wheelbase, a wider front track, and a more rigid chassis, all contributing to enhanced driving dynamics and comfort. Within this celebrated generation, the GTS models carved out a special niche, bridging the gap between the Carrera S and the more track-focused GT3. The GTS offered a compelling blend of increased power, a more aggressive stance, and a host of desirable performance options as standard, making it a favorite among enthusiasts seeking an elevated daily driver with serious sporting credentials. This particular 2016 Porsche 911 Carrera GTS exemplifies the breed, presented in a sleek coupe body style. Power comes from the naturally aspirated 3.8-liter flat-six engine, a unit revered for its linear power delivery and intoxicating sound, paired with an automatic transmission for rapid shifts. With just 21,682 miles on the odometer, this example has been carefully driven, showcasing its condition as a well-preserved enthusiast machine. The GTS package inherently brings a more assertive aesthetic and improved performance features, ensuring this 911 stands out. For the discerning enthusiast, this 991 Carrera GTS represents a compelling opportunity to own a naturally aspirated gem from a beloved generation.
