The 991 generation of the Porsche 911, launched in 2012, marked a significant evolution in the iconic sports car's lineage. While retaining the unmistakable silhouette, it introduced a longer wheelbase, a wider front track, and a more rigid chassis, all contributing to enhanced driving dynamics and a more spacious interior. The Carrera models, powered by a naturally aspirated flat-six, offered a purist driving experience that many enthusiasts still covet, before the widespread adoption of turbocharging in subsequent generations. The Black Edition, released towards the end of the 991.1 production run, was a special trim level designed to offer a cohesive, darkly themed aesthetic paired with an enhanced list of standard features, making it a compelling package for discerning buyers. This particular 2016 Porsche 911 Carrera Black Edition Convertible presents a fantastic opportunity to experience the best of the 991.1 era with its desirable open-top configuration. Showing just 24,439 miles on the odometer, this example is powered by the revered 3.4-liter naturally aspirated flat-six engine, paired with Porsche's responsive automatic transmission. Dressed in a sophisticated black exterior, complemented by its matching black interior and convertible top, this car embodies the stealthy elegance that defines the Black Edition. This Carrera Black Edition Convertible offers a refined and exhilarating driving experience, ready for its next enthusiast owner.
